Welcome to Bleriot.org

This website is devoted to collecting and providing information on the aircraft of a remarkable man, Louis Bleriot, who changed history with his pioneering flight from France to England across the English Channel on July 25, 1909.

Click the map to read several accounts of that achievement:

A dedicated community of aviation history enthusiasts preserves his memory today by restoring his surviving original planes, creating functional replicas of his unique designs and sharing their fascinating experiences with others.
